Born from the mission of the Word on Fire Institute and its guiding principles found in Bishop Robert Barron's book Centered: The Spirituality of Word on Fire, the Centered retreat is the beginning of a movement to connect members of the Institute to one another and to provide them with further formation for them to evangelize the culture.

Participants of the Centered retreat will receive the opportunity to recenter their life on Christ and uncover a greater awareness of their strengths and gifts as evangelists. They will experience prayer and fellowship with fellow Institute members from their local region and be sent, two by two, to bring Christ to their own communities.

It is our hope that this retreat will help Institute members discover more confidence and clarity on how to take the next steps as evangelizing disciples and act on the conviction of their call to holiness and evangelization as disciples of Christ.
